Planned sectors
The original urban core is divided into regular blocks and sectors. This rational layout reads as a crisp, repeating pattern in the middle of the map.

Cidade Ocidental Map Poster & Print
Cidade Ocidental lies in Goiás, just across the southern boundary of the Federal District, and is one of the ring of towns that grew up around Brasília. Like the capital, it began as a planned settlement, and the map shows it clearly. Long parallel blocks, numbered sectors and wide avenues follow a deliberate pattern instead of growing out from an old centre.
The terrain is typical of the central Brazilian plateau: broad and gently rolling, with cerrado vegetation and stream valleys cutting shallow lines through the land. Around the core, newer housing areas and condominiums add their own self-contained street patterns, while farmland and open savanna fill the gaps. The town appears as a cluster of distinct pieces on a wide canvas.
A Cidade Ocidental map poster shows that structure plainly: the orderly sectors, the roads linking them toward the Federal District, and the open ground in between. Its clean lines suit a minimalist print well, especially for anyone whose everyday life moves between this town and the capital.

Cerrado plateau
Gently rolling savanna surrounds the town, and small stream valleys draw thin natural lines between the built-up areas and the farmland on the edges.
Links to Brasília
Roads heading north connect the town to the Federal District, a reminder that Cidade Ocidental belongs to the wider metropolitan area of the capital.

Many residents commute to Brasília, but this is where home is. A map of the sectors and streets is a quiet way to mark the neighbourhood where a family settled or a first house was bought, without anything overly decorative.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line are all editable, so you can add a name, a street or a date. Choose one of five styles, including Blueprint for a planned town, and download the 300 DPI files for $9.
