Enfield Town Map Poster & Print
Enfield Town is the historic centre of the London Borough of Enfield, at the northern edge of the city. Its core is a small market town, with a market place, a church and a high street, and it sits at the centre of streets that spread out in every direction. On the map, the old centre feels distinct from the more regular suburban roads around it.
The New River, an artificial waterway built in the early seventeenth century to bring fresh water to London, winds through the area. It makes graceful loops through the town, and those curves are easy to recognise from above. Town Park and other open spaces add green gaps between the houses.
Enfield Town is also where the world's first cash machine was installed, at a Barclays branch in 1967. To the west, the land opens up towards the remains of Enfield Chase, a former royal hunting ground. An Enfield Town map poster shows London just before it turns into countryside.

Parks and open land to the west, towards the old Enfield Chase, mark the point where the city begins to thin out.

Enfield Town is home to many Londoners who know its market place, its station and the path along the New River. A map of its streets is a personal, unusual choice for a hallway or a first flat.
You can edit the title, subtitle and coordinates and choose between five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Each shows the river loops differently.
