Town centre
A small commercial core is where the main roads meet. It is the densest point on the map, and residential blocks spread out from it.

Glinde Map Poster & Print
Glinde lies just beyond Hamburg's eastern city limit, in the Stormarn district of Schleswig-Holstein. On the map it reads as a compact town with a clear shape. A main street and a small centre are surrounded by residential blocks, and the land beyond turns quickly into open fields and patches of woodland.
Its layout reflects decades of growth as a commuter town. Rows of houses and low apartment blocks follow orderly streets, while some older roads keep the gentle curves of the country lanes they once were. Green strips and small parks run between the neighbourhoods, which keeps the map open.
A Glinde map poster is a modest subject compared with the city next door, and that is part of its appeal. The whole town fits comfortably on the sheet, so every street where people live, shop and walk each day is included.

Residential rows
Orderly streets of houses and apartment blocks fill most of the town. On paper they create a regular, repeating texture.
Green edge
Fields and woodland start right where the streets end. The open border gives the town a crisp, well-defined outline on the poster.
