Bends of the Horyn
The Horyn River curves through the town in wide loops, the most striking element of the poster and the line that shapes where streets could run.

Iziaslav Map Poster & Print
Iziaslav sits on the Horyn River in the west of Ukraine, and the river is the organising line of the whole map. It loops through the town in broad curves, separating older ground from later development and giving the street pattern its orientation. Roads cross it at a few points, and the settlement gathers along the banks rather than spreading evenly across the surrounding farmland of Khmelnytskyi region.
The town was long known as Zaslav, a name it carried for centuries before being renamed. It was held by powerful noble families, and remnants of a castle, churches and a former monastery still mark the historic quarter. On a map that past shows up as a denser, older knot of irregular streets near the river, set against the straighter, more regular blocks built later.
An Iziaslav map poster turns this layered town into clean black and white line work. The Horyn becomes a strong curving band, the old quarter a tight cluster of short streets, and the outer districts a looser grid fading into fields. It is a map that shows how a river town grew around its crossings, and how an old centre and a newer town sit side by side.

The old quarter
Near the river the historic part of town forms a denser pattern of short, irregular streets, where the castle remnants and old churches of Zaslav stand.
Town meets fields
At the edges the grid loosens and gives way to open agricultural land, so the town reads as a compact shape set within a wide rural landscape.

Iziaslav is often a family place, the town of grandparents, a childhood home or a starting point before a move abroad. A map poster keeps its river and streets close, a quiet reminder of a specific place that rarely appears on souvenirs or in guidebooks.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, for example with the old name Zaslav, a family surname or a meaningful date. Pick one of five styles, Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download the files for $9 or order a printed poster.
