End of the line
The railway runs into town and terminates, a straight graphic stroke that ends abruptly within the street pattern and anchors the whole composition of the poster.

Lālgola Map Poster & Print
Lālgola lies in the north of West Bengal's Murshidabad district, close to the Padma, as the main stream of the Ganges is called here, and not far from the border with Bangladesh. The land is completely flat, and from above it is laced with ponds, field boundaries and the old courses water has left behind as the river shifted over time.
The town is best known as the terminus of a railway branch running up from the south, so the track reaches Lālgola and simply stops. On the map that gives the settlement a clear axis: the line arrives, the station area gathers streets around it, and lanes spread outward into villages and farmland.
A Lālgola map poster works well because of that contrast between the straight line of the railway and the loose, organic pattern of the delta country. Tanks and ponds become small solid shapes, and the lanes wind between them in a way no planner would draw.

Padma floodplain
To the north the land opens toward the broad, shifting river system of the Padma, with sandbanks and old channels visible as soft curves at the edge of the map.
Ponds and tanks
Countless small water bodies dot the town and its surroundings, a typical Bengal feature that turns into a scatter of dark shapes across the printed map.
