Lishu Map Poster & Print
Lishu is a county in Siping, in western Jilin Province. It lies on the Songliao plain, one of the main grain-growing regions of north-east China, where maize and other crops cover the land for long distances in every direction. The county seat is the urban centre on the map, and it acts as a market and administrative hub for the farming villages around it.
The terrain is almost completely flat, so the town has a planned, regular form: straight main roads, rectangular blocks and newer districts added on its edges. Outside the built-up area, the map turns into a pattern of field roads and scattered villages, with rows of trees marking field boundaries.
