Unzha River
The river winds past the town in broad bends. It is the most expressive line on the poster and recalls the old route by which timber was floated downstream.

Manturovo Map Poster & Print
Manturovo stands on the Unzha River in the east of Kostroma Oblast, surrounded by the dense forests of northern European Russia. Two lines shape its map. The river curves along the edge of the town, and the railway crosses the landscape and drove much of the settlement's modern growth.
The town grew up around timber and woodworking. Forestry is still its main industry, and plywood production has long been associated with the place. Streets form a loose grid of low-rise blocks and wooden houses. Larger industrial sites sit near the railway, and open land runs down toward the water.
A Manturovo map poster sets that working town against a remarkable amount of empty space. Forest surrounds everything, the river cuts a wide meander through it, and the rail line runs straight across. It is a spare, graphic composition, well suited to anyone with ties to the Kostroma region.

Railway corridor
A railway crosses the town in a long straight line, with sidings and industrial sites beside it. This connection shaped much of Manturovo's growth.
Forest edges
Beyond the streets, forest fills the frame in every direction, broken only by roads and clearings. It gives the poster wide areas of calm empty space.
