Hortobágy-Berettyó
This watercourse passes by the town, its course partly regulated. It adds a smooth curving line to an otherwise straight-edged map.

Mezőtúr Map Poster & Print
Mezőtúr lies in the Nagykunság area of the Great Hungarian Plain, in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county. The land around it is almost completely level, and from above that flatness shows in the town's wide, spread-out plan: long straight streets, large residential blocks and a central area where the main roads meet.
The town is known for its pottery tradition, which has been practised here for centuries. The Hortobágy-Berettyó channel runs along the edge of town, and the Hármas-Körös flows not far to the south, so water shapes the surrounding landscape of fields, drainage ditches and river meadows.
A Mezőtúr map poster suits the precise, graphic quality of a lowland town. The regular street pattern sits in the middle, the canal curves past it, and the long straight lines of field boundaries fill the edges. It is an orderly, calm composition, typical of the Hungarian plain.

Wide street grid
Streets run long and straight across the level ground, forming large blocks with gardens behind the houses. This is typical of Great Plain towns.
Field geometry
Beyond the town, farmland is divided into long rectangular strips and drained by ditches. The effect is a crisp, repetitive texture around the edges.
