Nalco, often called NALCO Nagar, is the township built for the National Aluminium Company's smelter and power plant near Angul in central Odisha. From above it looks like the planned settlement it is. The smelter is the largest shape in the area, with long rows of potlines, storage yards and railway sidings that look very different from the small quarters of the township.
