Nasinu lies on the southeastern side of Viti Levu, Fiji's largest island, between the capital Suva and the town of Nausori. It is one of the country's most populous urban areas, although it has grown mostly as a spread of suburbs rather than around a single centre. On a map, Kings Road runs through it as the main spine.
From that spine, residential streets branch off across low, rolling hills, often following the terrain rather than a grid. Creeks and small valleys cut between the neighbourhoods and leave green gaps.
