Tatkon is a town in the Sagaing Region of north-western Myanmar, a large area of river valleys, forested ranges and scattered settlements. From above, the town is modest in scale: a limited network of streets with houses and plots arranged along them, and roads and tracks leading out into the surrounding countryside.
