关于地图
Abalak Map Poster & Print
Abalak is in the Tahoua region of central Niger, in the dry Sahel belt south of the Sahara. On the map, the town is a small, dense cluster in a very large empty space. There are few other lines around it, so the town itself stands out clearly on the poster.
Its setting is pastoral. The surrounding land is used for herding, and routes across the region connect settlements, wells and markets. Within the town, the street network is simple and fairly regular, and tracks radiate from the edges into open country, where the linework almost disappears.
An Abalak map poster is mostly empty space, and that is its appeal. A small street pattern sits in the middle of a very plain landscape. In black and white, it becomes a quiet, graphic image of how settlement looks in the Sahel. It is a meaningful piece for people with ties to central Niger.

Tracks into the Sahel
Roads and tracks lead out from the town's edges into grazing country. They thin into single lines and disappear toward the edges of the frame.
Open space
Most of the map shows very little, which reflects the dry, open landscape. The empty space gives the poster its calm, minimal look.

为什么选Abalak
一张有意义的地图
The map is for people with family or working ties to the Tahoua region, and for anyone who prefers a spare, graphic print. A small town in a wide empty landscape makes an image that is easy to live with.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy it as HD digital files, or order a matte print with an optional frame.
