The railway line
The Budapest–Szolnok main line crosses the town in a single straight stroke, a strong organising line that the surrounding streets fall in beside or meet at right angles.

关于地图
Abony Map Poster & Print
Abony lies in the south-east of Pest County, where the Great Hungarian Plain opens out towards the Tisza. There is almost no relief here, so the town's shape comes from roads, the railway and the edges of fields. From above it reads as a broad, low settlement whose streets have grown outward over time instead of climbing or curving around terrain.
The main line between Budapest and Szolnok passes through the town, and on a map it shows as one long, confident stroke against the softer street pattern. Around the centre the blocks are wide and the plots deep, a layout common to Alföld market towns where houses sit in front and gardens run back towards the next lane.
A Abony map poster keeps that plainness on purpose. With no coastline or hills to lean on, the drawing depends on the rhythm of parallel streets, the occasional diagonal road heading out towards neighbouring villages, and the clean line of the tracks. In black and white it looks calm and orderly, close to a surveyor's sheet.

Plain-town blocks
Wide blocks with deep garden plots, typical of market towns on the Great Hungarian Plain, give the residential areas a loose and even texture when drawn from above.
Roads to the fields
Country roads leave the town edge in several directions and run out into open farmland, so the poster ends in thinning lines, not a hard boundary.

为什么选Abony
一张有意义的地图
For people from Abony, the map is a way to hold the whole town at once: the street they grew up on, the route to the station, the edge where fields begin. Its quiet geometry suits a hallway, a study or a gift for relatives who moved away.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, such as a family name or a year that matters, and pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the HD files or order a print.
