关于地图
Adoni Map Poster & Print
Adoni lies in western Andhra Pradesh, on the Deccan plateau, where scattered granite hills rise out of dry farmland. On a map, the town forms a dense, compact core of narrow streets. Rocky high ground stands on its edges, and main roads and a railway line leave the centre in several directions toward the surrounding agricultural country.
The town is best known as a major trading centre for cotton, and ginning and trade in the crop have long shaped its economy. The hills around Adoni hold the remains of old fortifications, reminders of the town's past importance in the region's history.
An Adoni map poster presents the tight grain of the old town and the blank shapes of the hills around it. The railway and highways stretch out across the plain. The result is a clear, honest portrait of a working market town, a meaningful gift for families from Kurnool district and for those who have moved away.
