关于地图
Altus Map Poster & Print
Altus lies in Jackson County in southwestern Oklahoma, on the level plains near the Texas border. From above, the town is a clear street grid spreading across open land, with farm roads extending straight in every direction and cotton and wheat fields beyond the edges.
The name Altus, from the Latin for high, recalls the town's founding in 1891, when settlers moved to higher ground after a flood struck the nearby settlement of Frazer. Altus Air Force Base, a major training centre for large transport aircraft, lies on the northeast side of town, its runways a defining feature on the map.
An Altus map poster brings out the graphic simplicity of the southern plains. The town's grid is orderly, the air base adds bold straight lines, and the surrounding farmland stretches into even squares. It is a crisp composition that holds meaning for residents and service members alike.

为什么选Altus
一张有意义的地图
Altus is a fitting keepsake for airmen and families stationed at the base, or anyone raised in southwestern Oklahoma. The runways and plains grid give a spare, confident look on the wall.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a unit or deployment year. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and order a digital file or printed poster with optional frame.
