Powwow River falls
The river drops sharply through downtown, and the streets and old mill sites cluster around it to form the dense, irregular heart of the map.

关于地图
Amesbury Map Poster & Print
Amesbury sits in the north-eastern corner of Massachusetts, just south of the New Hampshire line, where the Powwow River drops through the centre of town on its way to the Merrimack. From above, the downtown is a compact knot of streets around the river, with mill buildings and small squares, while residential neighbourhoods and roads spread outward over rolling ground.
Water power shaped everything here. Mills lined the Powwow, and in the nineteenth century Amesbury became known for building carriages and later car bodies, which made it a centre of the trade. On an Amesbury map poster, the river's short, steep course through downtown and the curve of the Merrimack along the southern edge give the design its strongest lines.
The poet John Greenleaf Whittier lived in Amesbury for much of his life, and his house still stands in the town. The map shows a New England layout that grew without a plan: winding roads instead of a grid, lakes and ponds beyond the centre, and major highways passing near the edges of town.

Merrimack edge
The broad Merrimack River runs along the southern side of town, adding a wide, confident curve of water that anchors the lower part of the poster.
Lakes and ponds
Bodies of water such as Lake Attitash break up the residential areas beyond the centre, leaving smooth white shapes among the winding suburban roads.

为什么选Amesbury
一张有意义的地图
Amesbury's mix of river, mill buildings and New England lanes makes it a satisfying map to hang, whether you grew up near the downtown squares or recently bought a house there. It feels specific to the town rather than generic.
Add a family surname, a moving-in date or custom coordinates, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters come on matte paper with an optional wooden frame, and the $9 digital files cover six sizes up to 24×36″.
