关于地图
Arpino Map Poster & Print
This Arpino lies in Campania, on the flat ground north of Naples, where towns and districts have grown together into one continuous urban area. From above there are no clear edges. Streets from neighbouring areas run straight into one another, and the map is a close weave of short blocks, courtyards and main roads.
That density is what makes it interesting to look at. Older routes cross the plain at slightly different angles from the newer residential streets, so the grid shifts and bends in places. Larger roads and rail lines cut across it in longer, straighter strokes, and they help locate it within the wider metropolitan area.
An Arpino map poster shows the neighbourhood as its residents know it: a tight network of streets, a few larger open spaces and the roads that lead towards the city centre. It is a good choice for someone who grew up here or has family here and wants a precise picture of a very particular place.

Shifting street grid
Blocks follow several slightly different alignments where older and newer development meet, which creates subtle changes of direction across the sheet.
Arterial roads
Main roads and rail lines cross the district in long, straight lines. In black and white they stand out as the strongest strokes on the map.

为什么选Arpino
一张有意义的地图
A map of a neighbourhood like this is mostly personal. It marks the streets of a family home, a first flat or a childhood spent north of Naples, drawn precisely enough to trace the route from one door to another.
Change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to add a surname, an address or a year. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir handles this much density especially well.
