关于地图
Assen Map Poster & Print
Assen is the capital of Drenthe, a province of heath, woods and farmland in the northeast of the Netherlands. On a map the town has a small historic centre surrounded by wide residential neighbourhoods laid out in curving streets, with large green areas such as the Asserbos woods close to the middle.
The town is best known for the TT Circuit Assen, home of the Dutch TT motorcycle race since the early twentieth century, which lies on the southern edge of town. The Noord-Willemskanaal starts in Assen and runs north towards Groningen, a straight line of water through the landscape.
An Assen map poster brings out the town's balance of built area and green space. The canal gives the composition a firm vertical line, the woods appear as open patches among the streets, and the race circuit adds a distinctive looped shape near the town's edge.

Noord-Willemskanaal
The canal leaves Assen heading north towards Groningen, a straight and deliberate line that cuts cleanly through the surrounding fields and roads.
Asserbos woodland
A large wooded area sits close to the town centre, leaving a broad open space in the street pattern that gives the map room to breathe.

为什么选Assen
一张有意义的地图
Assen appeals to people who live in Drenthe, to students and workers who passed through, and to racing fans who make the trip each year. The circuit and canal make it a map with a clear story rather than a generic street grid.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with the date of a race weekend, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir works well for the circuit, Paper for the woods.
