关于地图
Auburn Map Poster & Print
Auburn lies in the valley of the Green River in King County, Washington, roughly halfway between Seattle and Tacoma. From above, the city divides in two. The flat valley floor holds the older downtown grid, the rail yards and large industrial parks, while residential streets climb onto the plateaus to the east and west.
The Green River winds across the valley in loose meanders, and the White River joins from the south. Highway 18 and State Route 167 cross the city, and long freight rail lines run north to south. The Muckleshoot Indian Reservation borders the city to the southeast.
An Auburn map poster shows a valley city with sharp contrasts, between straight rail lines and winding rivers, and between flat industrial land and the hills above. The city is home to the Emerald Downs racetrack and a large Boeing plant.

Valley rail yards
Freight lines and yards run north to south through the valley. They form long, parallel bands across the centre.
Plateau neighbourhoods
Residential streets on the hills curve and branch into cul-de-sacs. They contrast with the regular grid below.
