关于地图
Auburndale Map Poster & Print
Auburndale is a city in Polk County, in central Florida, between Lakeland and Winter Haven. Like much of this region, it is defined by lakes. Several of them, including Lake Ariana, sit close to the town, and their rounded shapes form the strongest features on the map. The surrounding land was long given over to citrus groves.
The downtown is a small grid of blocks near the railway, with residential streets spreading outward and curving around the lake shores. Further out, the pattern loosens into subdivisions, highways and large rectangular parcels that reflect the region's agricultural past.
An Auburndale map poster works because of this interplay. The straight lines of the grid meet the soft outlines of the lakes, creating a composition that is both orderly and relaxed. It is a view of central Florida that looks distinctive in black and white.

Citrus parcels
Around the town, large rectangular land divisions reflect the citrus groves that shaped the local economy for much of the twentieth century.
