关于地图
Bedlington Map Poster & Print
Bedlington is a town in south-east Northumberland, a short distance inland from the North Sea coast. Its historic centre follows a long, broad main street running along higher ground, while the River Blyth winds through a wooded valley along the southern side of the town.
Around the old core, the map fills with twentieth-century housing and the remains of former colliery settlements, reflecting the area's long association with coal. Bedlington also gave its name to the Bedlington Terrier, the lamb-like dog breed that originated in this part of Northumberland.
A Bedlington map poster traces the spine of the main street, the curve of the river valley and the looser clusters of streets that grew around the pits. It shows a town set in open, rolling country, with the coast and the towns of Blyth and Ashington nearby.

River Blyth valley
To the south the Blyth runs through a wooded, winding valley, a dark, curving band that separates the town from the countryside across the water.
Colliery settlements
Scattered groups of terraced streets around the town mark former mining communities, giving the surrounding map a pattern of small, dense clusters among fields.

为什么选Bedlington
一张有意义的地图
Bedlington means something particular to people from the Northumberland coalfield, and this map is a simple way to hold on to that. It works just as well as a gift for anyone who has moved away from the area.
You can set your own title and subtitle, perhaps a family name and year, adjust the coordinates line and choose one of five styles. Printed posters on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame, ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
