关于地图
Beringen Map Poster & Print
Beringen lies in the province of Limburg in north-eastern Belgium, in the sandy, wooded Kempen region. It is made up of several parts, including the old town centre and the district of Beringen-Mijn, which grew up around a coal mine in the early twentieth century. On a map these appear as separate clusters, linked by roads across heath, woodland and farmland.
The former colliery is the town's defining landmark. Its buildings now house a mining museum and other uses under the name be-MINE. One of the huge spoil heaps beside it has been turned into an adventure park. The planned streets of the old mining estate still surround the site and give it a distinct pattern.
The Albert Canal crosses the municipality, a long, straight waterway linking Liège and Antwerp. A Beringen map poster brings these features into one frame: the separate town centres, the colliery and its estate, and the canal cutting a clean line across the landscape. It is a map that tells how coal remade a quiet rural area.

为什么选Beringen
一张有意义的地图
Many families in Beringen have roots in the mining community, including those who came from Italy, Turkey and elsewhere to work underground. A map of the town, with the colliery at its heart, is a meaningful way to honour that heritage.
You can personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or the year someone arrived, and update the coordinates. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD files cost $9, and matte prints can come in a wooden frame.
