Railway junction
Several lines converge on the station, and their long straight strokes give the map its main axes. The town's densest blocks sit right beside them.

关于地图
Bīna Map Poster & Print
Bīna lies in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, on the plateau country of central India. Seen from above, the town is organised by the railway: lines approach from several directions and meet at the junction, with the older streets pressed close to the station and newer neighbourhoods spreading outward over flat, open ground.
The junction is one of the important rail crossroads of the region, linking routes between north and central India. Beyond the town, a large oil refinery adds a very different geometry to the landscape, with its tank farms and internal roads forming clean, repeated shapes that read almost like a diagram when drawn in black and white.
A Bīna map poster puts that structure on the wall. The rail lines become long, confident strokes cutting across the sheet, the town clusters around them, and the surrounding fields leave generous white space. It is a map that shows how a place grew around the movement of trains.

Refinery grounds
Outside the town, the refinery's grid of storage tanks and service roads forms a distinctive geometric pattern that stands apart from the looser residential streets.
Open plateau
Around the built area, sparse roads and field edges leave wide open space, so the town and its rail lines read clearly against the page.
