Binonga Map Poster
Binonga lies on the western side of Negros, in the flat country north of Bacolod that runs down to the Guimaras Strait. From above, the land is mostly open. Large fields are divided by straight farm roads, and houses gather along the main routes and at the crossroads.
This part of Negros is sugarcane country, and the pattern of the fields comes from generations of haciendas and mills. The coastal highway connects the towns along the coast, and smaller roads lead inland towards the slopes of the island's volcanic interior.
A Binonga map poster shows a landscape that is more rural than urban. The print is made up of long, straight field lines, a few curving roads and small, dense clusters of streets where people live. It is a quiet design, and it suits the Paper and Sand styles especially well.
