Colonial grid
Regular square blocks around a central plaza form the core of the town. They create a crisp pattern that stands out against the countryside.

关于地图
Boconoito Map Poster & Print
Boconoito is a town in the state of Portuguesa in western Venezuela, on the edge of the llanos, the country's great interior plains. The land is flat and open. Fields, pastures and slow, winding watercourses spread out in every direction, and the town appears on the map as a neat, compact settlement among them.
Like many Venezuelan towns of Spanish colonial origin, Boconoito is organised around a grid of square blocks with a central plaza. Roads head out across the plain toward neighbouring towns, and farm tracks divide the countryside into large, geometric parcels.
A Boconoito map poster shows the contrast between the orderly grid and the looser lines of rivers and rural roads. It is a clean, readable composition with a clear centre and a calm, horizontal feeling that suits the plains.

Plains roads
Long, straight roads run out across flat land toward nearby towns. They give the map strong directional lines.
Winding waterways
Streams and small rivers meander across the plain. Their soft curves balance the straight lines of the grid.

为什么选Boconoito
一张有意义的地图
A map of Boconoito speaks to people who grew up on the llanos or who keep family ties in Portuguesa. The simple grid and open land make a quiet, honest image of home.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to add a name or a date. Choose a style that suits the space: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
