Tight street grid
Compact rectangular blocks fill almost the entire district, which gives the print an even, textile-like texture from edge to edge.

关于地图
Breña Map Poster & Print
Breña is one of the smallest districts of Lima, a few square kilometres just west of the historic centre. On a map it has almost no open space. Rectangular blocks follow a regular grid, and major avenues such as Arica, Brasil and Venezuela cut through or run along its edges and connect it to the rest of the city.
Breña has been a working, residential district for generations, with shops, schools and small workshops crowded into its streets. Its best-known landmark is the Basilica of María Auxiliadora, run by the Salesians, a large church that has long been a focus of neighbourhood life. The district borders Cercado de Lima, Jesús María, Pueblo Libre and San Miguel.
A Breña map poster is a portrait of density. With so little open ground, the print becomes a fine, even mesh of streets, broken only by the wide avenues. It suits anyone raised in these blocks, or anyone whose family story passes through this part of Lima.

Main avenues
Wide avenues such as Arica, Brasil and Venezuela stand out as strong lines against the fine grid and connect Breña to the rest of Lima.
The basilica
The Basilica of María Auxiliadora is the district's most recognisable building and a long-standing anchor for the surrounding streets.

为什么选Breña
一张有意义的地图
Many Limeños identify strongly with their district, and a map of Breña reflects that local pride. A few square kilometres of grid can carry a lifetime of memories of school, church and family.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example to add a street name, a surname or a year. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The fine grid looks especially sharp in Noir.
