Brits Map Poster & Print
Brits lies in the North West province, west of Pretoria, where the Crocodile River flows north across irrigated farmland. From above, the town has a compact centre of grid streets. Industrial areas spread along the main roads, and green rectangles of cultivated fields run out on every side.
To the south the Magaliesberg forms a long, low ridge, and Hartbeespoort Dam lies beyond it. Water from that system irrigates much of the land around Brits. The map shows the result: fields laid out in neat parcels along the river, which is unusual in the drier interior of South Africa.
A Brits map poster captures the meeting of town and farmland. The Crocodile River winds through the composition, while the town grid and the straight edges of the fields push against its curves. In black and white, the pattern of fields turns into a fine texture around the denser centre.

Magaliesberg ridge
South of the town, the ridge runs roughly east to west. Roads bend around it and settlement thins out, which gives the lower edge of the map a quieter band.

The core of Brits is a regular street grid. Industrial zones along the main approach roads extend it outwards, so the plan looks clear and deliberate from above.
