Brummen Map Poster & Print
Brummen is a municipality in Gelderland, on the eastern bank of the IJssel between Zutphen and Arnhem. It includes the village of Brummen itself and several others, the largest of which is Eerbeek, known for its paper industry. On a map the area looks more rural than urban, with villages set among meadows, woods and old estates.
The IJssel forms the western boundary, with its floodplains and winding side channels showing as open land beside the river. Further east, the ground rises gently toward the Veluwe, and the map fills with forest paths and estate lanes. Country houses with formal avenues and gardens appear as neat geometric shapes within the woods.
A Brummen map poster captures a particular Dutch landscape: not the reclaimed polders of the west, but older, softer country along a river.
