Buduburam Map Poster & Print
Buduburam lies in Ghana's Central Region, a short drive west of Accra near the main coastal highway. It started in 1990 as a settlement for people fleeing the civil war in Liberia, and over the following decades it became a lasting community with its own markets, schools and churches.
On the map, Buduburam looks different from a planned town. The lanes are narrow and irregular and the blocks are small, packed together in a way that reflects fast growth rather than a drawn plan. The highway runs past as a firm straight line, and the settlement fills the ground beside it in a fine, dense texture.
Around the built-up area the land opens into farmland and scrub, and nearby villages sit along their own roads. A Buduburam map poster is a record of a place shaped by people who arrived, stayed and built. For many former residents now living abroad, it is still the place they remember as home.

Small blocks and narrow paths create a fine-grained street pattern. On paper it prints as a dense, almost woven texture.
Surrounding farmland
Past the edge of the settlement, the map quickly thins into open ground and a few rural roads. This makes the outline of the built area easy to see.
