关于地图
Caetité Map Poster & Print
Caetité stands in the highlands of south-central Bahia, among the ridges that form part of the Serra Geral and the wider Espinhaço system. The elevation gives it a milder climate than the surrounding sertão. The town has a long history as a regional centre of education and administration, and it is the birthplace of the educator Anísio Teixeira.
The historic centre forms a compact grid of streets and squares, typical of older Brazilian interior towns, with churches and civic buildings at key points. Newer neighbourhoods spread outward over the uneven ground, and roads leave the town towards the hills. The municipality is also known for uranium mining in the Lagoa Real area.
A Caetité map poster captures a highland town where a colonial-era core meets the pressure of rough terrain. In black and white, the orderly streets of the centre contrast with the curving roads and open land around them. It is a considered gift for anyone from the Bahian interior.

Highland setting
The town sits on high ground within the Espinhaço system, and roads leaving the centre bend around the ridges and slopes of this upland country.
Spreading outskirts
Newer neighbourhoods have grown outward over the uneven terrain, so the street pattern becomes looser and less regular towards the edges of the map.

为什么选Caetité
一张有意义的地图
People from Caetité often speak of its cool climate and its place in Bahian education. A map of the town is a restrained way to honour that heritage, or to mark a family's roots in the interior.
Personalise it with a title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps a family name and the year a relative graduated, and choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters on matte paper ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
