关于地图
Calhoun Map Poster & Print
Calhoun is the seat of Gordon County in northwest Georgia, in the valley country between the Appalachian foothills and the Piedmont. On a map the town has a clear historic core, a compact grid near the courthouse, with residential streets spreading out and commercial areas lining the main routes.
Interstate 75 runs past the town, creating a long, strong line on the map with interchanges feeding into the city. The Oostanaula River flows nearby, its bends and floodplain adding soft curves to the landscape. Just north-east of town is New Echota, the former capital of the Cherokee Nation, now a state historic site.
A Calhoun map poster combines the order of a Southern county seat with the natural and historic landscape around it. The grid, the interstate and the river together make a layered, readable composition with a long story behind it.
