关于地图
Campos Gerais Map Poster & Print
Campos Gerais is in the south of Minas Gerais, one of Brazil's main coffee-growing regions. The landscape is made up of rolling hills, farms and the long, branching arms of the Furnas reservoir, which were created when a dam flooded the valleys of the Rio Grande. The municipality lies close to parts of this large artificial lake.
The town has a compact street network adapted to the terrain. Some streets follow the slopes, while others form short regular blocks around the centre. Beyond town, rural roads cross coffee and pasture land. In the wider area, the reservoir appears as large, irregular pale shapes with fingers of water reaching into the valleys.
A Campos Gerais map poster places a typical southern Minas town within its landscape. The tight urban centre sits among farm roads and rolling land, with the complex outline of the reservoir nearby. In black and white the water becomes the boldest element of the composition.

Coffee country
Southern Minas is known for its coffee. The farm roads and field boundaries around the town reflect this agricultural landscape.
Town on the hills
Streets adapt to the rolling terrain, with a denser centre and roads following the slopes outward. This gives the town an organic shape.
