关于地图
Caringin Map Poster & Print
Caringin is a district of Bogor Regency in West Java, on the rising ground south of Bogor, where the land begins to climb towards the volcanic mountains of the interior. On the map, it is not a single compact town but a spread of villages, kampung lanes and small clusters of houses linked by roads that follow ridges and valleys.
The main road towards Sukabumi runs through the area, and much of the denser development sits along it. Away from the road, settlements are woven between rice fields, gardens and streams descending from the higher slopes, and the map becomes a soft network of paths rather than a grid.
A Caringin map poster captures this rural-suburban character: a strong main road, a fine lace of village lanes, and the curving lines of rivers and slopes in between. It is an intimate kind of map, and in black and white it reads almost like a drawing of the landscape itself.

Village lanes
Narrow kampung lanes branch off the main road into the surrounding land, creating a fine, irregular mesh that fills the space between fields.
Streams and slopes
Small rivers run down from the higher ground towards the lowlands, their curving courses guiding where settlements and paths can go.
