Caucagüito lies in Miranda state, in the hilly country east of Caracas, where the capital's urban area starts to thin out toward the valleys beyond. On a map it doesn't look like a planned town. It looks like a settlement shaped by the ground under it, with roads that bend around slopes and neighbourhoods spread along the higher ground.
Seen from above, the street pattern is dense and irregular. Short lanes branch off winding main roads, stairways and footpaths fill the gaps between them, and clusters of small blocks cling to the hillsides. Steep gullies with no streets break up the built-up areas. Those empty strips carry as much of the picture as the streets do.
A Caucagüito map poster turns that pattern into a study in line and density. Tight bundles of lanes sit next to open ground, and one road rises and falls across the frame. With a population of around fifty thousand, it is a real part of the metropolitan edge of Caracas. On paper it reads as a record of how a community built itself onto uneven land.

Dense hillside lanes
Between the larger roads, narrow lanes and paths pack closely together. At poster scale they become fine, almost textile-like hatching that shows where people live most densely.
Ravines and open slopes
Steep, unbuilt ground cuts through the district in pale bands. These gaps separate one neighbourhood from the next and give the composition its sense of depth and relief.
