关于地图
Cerejeiras Map Poster & Print
Cerejeiras lies in the south of Rondônia, in Brazil's western frontier region, not far from the border with Bolivia. Like many towns founded during the settlement of Rondônia in the late twentieth century, it follows a planned layout. On the map, straight streets cross at right angles and form a clear, regular grid.
Around the town, the landscape is largely agricultural, and it has become known for large-scale farming, especially grains. Long, straight rural roads run out into the fields and divide the land into big rectangular plots. The name Cerejeiras means cherry trees in Portuguese, which adds a gentle note to a place of wide horizons.
A Cerejeiras map poster shows that order clearly. The grid of the town sits in the middle, and the long country roads extend outwards to the edges of the frame. It is a crisp, geometric design that reflects a young, planned town in the south-west of the Brazilian Amazon, shaped by agriculture and open space.
