关于地图
Chalk Farm Map Poster & Print
Chalk Farm is a neighbourhood in the London Borough of Camden, between Camden Town to the south, Belsize Park to the north and Primrose Hill to the west. The nineteenth century shaped its map. Victorian terraces line the streets, and the railway lines running out of Euston cut through the area in a broad, curving band that separates it from its neighbours.
The Roundhouse, a railway engine shed built in the 1840s and now a well-known performance venue, stands on Chalk Farm Road. Its circular footprint is one of the most distinctive shapes on the map. Camden's markets spread along the Regent's Canal nearby, and Primrose Hill opens to the west, with one of the best-known views over central London.
A Chalk Farm map poster shows how varied a small part of London can be. Rail yards, canal, terraces, a park and a circular landmark all sit within a few streets of each other. Chalk Farm Underground station on the Northern line anchors the area, and the dense street pattern gives the composition a rich, detailed texture.

Railway cutting
Lines from Euston sweep through the neighbourhood in a wide band. The tracks, sidings and bridges form a strong curving feature that separates Chalk Farm from Primrose Hill.
Primrose Hill
West of the neighbourhood, the open park rises to a summit with views over central London. On the map it appears as a calm open space among the streets.
