关于地图
Chalthan Map Poster & Print
Chalthan lies a short distance east of Surat in southern Gujarat, in a belt of towns that has grown quickly alongside the city's textile and industrial economy. The area was long agricultural, with sugarcane among its important crops, and the map still shows that mix: an older core of irregular lanes surrounded by newer housing societies and workshop plots.
From above, the pattern is layered. Narrow, organic streets mark the original settlement, while straighter roads and rectangular compounds spread outward in planned-looking blocks. A rail line and the main road toward Surat cut through the landscape, and the fields between developments leave clear open patches. The result is a map that records a town in transition from village to suburb.
A Chalthan map poster is a personal object for residents and for families who have watched the area change over a generation. It turns a place that rarely appears on souvenirs into a clean graphic print, where every lane and compound receives the same careful line weight as the streets of a capital city.

为什么选Chalthan
一张有意义的地图
For families in Chalthan, the map is a record of where they live now and how the place has grown. For those who moved away, it is a way to keep a precise, unsentimental image of home on the wall.
Personalise the title with a family name, add a house-warming date to the subtitle, and pick a style such as Paper or Sand for a softer look. Digital files for $9 cover six print sizes, and printed, framed posters are also available.
