Old town lanes
The centre forms a tight net of narrow, turning lanes and small squares, the most detailed part of the map and the heart of the traditional town.

关于地图
Chānasma Map Poster & Print
Chānasma is a town in Patan district of northern Gujarat, on the dry, level plain between Patan and Mehsana. From above it appears as a compact settlement with an older centre of narrow lanes, surrounded by newer roads and fields that stretch out across the plain in every direction.
The town is known in the Jain community for its temple dedicated to Parshvanath, and temples and religious buildings are part of the fabric of the old town. Like many towns in north Gujarat, Chānasma has water bodies near its edges that appear as calm pale shapes against the fine texture of streets.
A Chānasma map poster reduces the town to its essential lines: winding lanes at the centre, simple roads leading out and the open space of the plain. It suits families from the town, pilgrims and people with roots in the Patan area.

Temple quarter
Religious buildings, including the town's well-known Jain temple, sit within the older fabric, marking Chānasma as a place of pilgrimage as well as trade.
Open plain
Around the town, straight roads run across flat farmland towards Patan, Mehsana and nearby villages, leaving wide white space in the design.

为什么选Chānasma
一张有意义的地图
A map of Chānasma is a way to keep ancestral ties visible, for Gujarati families in Mumbai, Ahmedabad or abroad, or for anyone who has visited the town for its temple. The pattern of lanes is familiar to those who know it and interesting to those who do not.
Add a family name, a date or a short line to the title, subtitle and coordinates, and pick Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
