关于地图
Chandler Map Poster & Print
Chandler lies in the south-eastern part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. It is laid out almost entirely on the one-mile section grid of the American West, with straight arterial roads every mile and curving subdivisions filling each square. Loop 101 and Loop 202 cut across this pattern in broad sweeps. Irrigation canals left over from the farming era run diagonally through neighbourhoods, and the Gila River Indian Community borders the city to the south-west.
The town was founded in 1912 by Dr Alexander Chandler, a veterinary surgeon who bought land here. His San Marcos hotel still faces the small historic square downtown. For much of the twentieth century Chandler was agricultural. It later grew into a technology centre, with large semiconductor campuses on its edges.
A Chandler map poster turns the grid into a strong graphic: an even field of squares, each filled with its own pattern of cul-de-sacs, and loops, canals and parks crossing it. It reads almost like a textile.

Irrigation canals
Long canals built to water the old farms still cross the city. Their angled lines and paths along the banks break the regular grid in unexpected places.
Historic downtown square
The original town plan around Dr A.J. Chandler Park forms a small, compact core, with a finer street pattern than the suburbs that grew up around it.

为什么选Chandler
一张有意义的地图
Chandler is where many people bought their first house, started a family or began a career in tech. A map of those mile squares is a simple way to mark that chapter in a home or office.
Set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example your neighbourhood and the year you moved in. Then choose one of five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
