关于地图
Channagiri Map Poster & Print
Channagiri lies in Davanagere district in central Karnataka, in the transition zone between the open Deccan plateau and the greener country towards the Western Ghats. The town is compact, with streets branching out from a central area, and the map around it is filled with plantations, fields and the soft outlines of low hills.
The region is known for its areca nut plantations, which cover much of the surrounding land. Within the taluk lies Sulekere, also called Shanti Sagara, a very large tank built centuries ago to store water for the farmland around it, and still a defining feature of the local landscape.
A Channagiri map poster presents a town defined by its agricultural setting. The streets are drawn densely at the centre and thin out quickly into the plantations, giving the design a clear focus and plenty of breathing space around it.

Areca plantations
Groves of areca palms surround the town, and on the map they appear as open spaces between fields and minor roads.
Sulekere tank
The great tank of Shanti Sagara lies within the taluk, a large sheet of water that forms a striking shape when the map is drawn at a wider scale.
