关于地图
Chāpar Map Poster & Print
Chapar is a town in the Dhubri district of western Assam, on the wide floodplain of the Brahmaputra. The land here is low and flat, and it is shaped by the river's changing channels, seasonal flooding and the rice fields that cover most of the surrounding area.
From above, the town is a modest cluster of streets along its main roads and railway, with settlements extending along embankments and higher ground. Around it the map opens into a pattern of fields, ponds, wetlands and small watercourses, all shaped by the rhythm of the river.
A Chapar map poster shows how closely town and water live together in this part of Assam. The streets are few and simple, but the surrounding floodplain creates a detailed pattern of shapes and lines, and the result is a quiet, spacious composition.

Ponds and wetlands
Numerous small water bodies are scattered around the town. They appear as soft, rounded shapes among the fields and village roads.
Rail and road
The railway and main roads give the town its firmest lines. They connect Chapar with Dhubri, Bongaigaon and the rest of the region.
