关于地图
Chaykovskiy Map Poster & Print
Chaykovskiy lies in the southwest of Perm Krai, on the Kama river near the border with Udmurtia. It is a young town: construction began in the 1950s alongside the Votkinsk hydroelectric station, whose dam across the Kama created a large reservoir upstream. On the map, the town sits on the riverbank next to the dam, with the wide expanse of water spreading to the north.
Because it was planned from scratch, Chaykovskiy has the orderly look of a Soviet new town: straight avenues, large microdistricts of apartment blocks arranged around courtyards, and generous green space between them. Forest presses close to the edges, and the dam with its roadway forms one of the most distinctive straight lines on the map, crossing the river at the town's edge.
The town takes its name from the composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky, who was born in nearby Votkinsk. A Chaykovskiy map poster shows the planned streets, the dam and the broad bands of the Kama and its reservoir together, a precise portrait of a place that was created by the river and is still defined by it.

Planned microdistricts
Large residential blocks arranged around courtyards and wide avenues give the town the orderly structure typical of Soviet post-war planning.
Kama reservoir
Upstream of the dam, the river widens into a large reservoir, a sweeping open shape that dominates the northern part of the map.

为什么选Chaykovskiy
一张有意义的地图
Many families came to Chaykovskiy to build the dam and stayed, and the town's streets carry that history. A map of the place makes a fitting gift for anyone who grew up here, or who left for Perm, Moscow or elsewhere and still thinks of the Kama.
Set the title in the spelling you prefer, add a subtitle or a date and edit the coordinates line. Choose from five styles, including the calm Paper and the cool Blueprint, and download print-ready files for $9 or order a printed poster.
