Superblock layout
Large residential blocks with apartment buildings set around open courtyards give the map a spacious, geometric texture unlike the dense city centre.

关于地图
Cheremushky Map Poster & Print
Cheremushky is a residential area of Odesa, inland from the historic centre and the seafront. Unlike the tight nineteenth-century grid of central Odesa, it was built largely in the Soviet period, and the difference is obvious from above. The blocks are longer and the roads wider, and apartment buildings are arranged around large shared courtyards and green spaces.
The name recalls the Cheryomushki district in Moscow, whose housing became a model for mass residential construction across the Soviet Union from the late 1950s. Odesa's Cheremushky follows that pattern of standardised blocks with schools and shops placed within walking distance. That planning idea still shapes daily life for many residents.
A Cheremushky map poster shows a part of Odesa that tourists rarely see but many residents call home. Its large, even blocks make a calm and orderly composition. A wider frame can take in the older city grid nearby, so the print shows both the neighbourhood and its place within the city.

Wide arterial roads
Broad avenues frame the district and connect it with the rest of Odesa. Their strong straight lines divide the map into clear sections.
Courtyards and green space
The spaces between buildings, filled with trees and play areas, show up as open ground that lightens the print and brings out its geometry.

为什么选Cheremushky
一张有意义的地图
For people who grew up in Cheremushky, the map records the everyday landscape of childhood: the courtyard, the school, the walk to the bus stop. For Odesans living elsewhere, it is a quiet, personal way to keep the neighbourhood close.
