关于地图
Chichigalpa Map Poster & Print
Chichigalpa lies on the flat, fertile plain of Chinandega in northwestern Nicaragua, between the Pacific coast and the chain of volcanoes that runs along the country's west. The town is built on a regular grid of square blocks, and from above it forms a neat rectangle of streets set within an almost unbroken expanse of cultivated land.
That land is mostly sugarcane. Chichigalpa is home to the Ingenio San Antonio, one of the oldest and largest sugar mills in Nicaragua, and to the distillery that produces Flor de Caña rum. A Chichigalpa map poster shows the mill complex and the long, straight farm roads that divide the cane into large geometric blocks.
To the north rises San Cristóbal, the highest volcano in Nicaragua, a presence felt in every view even if it sits beyond the edge of a town-scale map. The combination of colonial grid, industrial agriculture and volcanic landscape makes this a quietly distinctive piece of the Nicaraguan Pacific lowlands.

Sugar mill complex
The Ingenio San Antonio and its access roads form a large industrial footprint at the edge of town, clearly distinct from the residential blocks.
Cane field geometry
Beyond the town, farm roads divide the sugarcane plantations into large rectangles, giving the outer map a bold, almost abstract pattern.

为什么选Chichigalpa
一张有意义的地图
Chichigalpa is a map for people whose lives are tied to the town and the mill, and for anyone who knows Nicaraguan rum by name and wants to see where it comes from, drawn simply and without decoration.
Add your own title, a subtitle such as a family name or a year, and the coordinates line. Sand and Paper give the cane fields a warm tone, while Classic black & white, Noir and Blueprint keep the grid crisp and graphic.
