关于地图
Chongoyape Map Poster & Print
Chongoyape sits in the Lambayeque region of northern Peru, at the point where the flat coastal plain begins to rise toward the Andes. On a map, the Chancay River valley runs through the area as a green corridor. The town lies close to it, with a compact street grid, and dry, rocky hills rise on both sides.
The district is known for its archaeological heritage, including ancient petroglyphs and gold objects from early Andean cultures found nearby. It is also the gateway to Chaparrí, a community-run nature reserve in the dry forest, and close to the Tinajones reservoir, which stores water for farming across the Lambayeque plain.
A Chongoyape map poster brings out that contrast between irrigated valley and dry upland. The small grid of the town sits against the curving line of the river, and the roads following the valley floor show how settlement depends on water here. It is a restrained map with a clear sense of geography.

Town grid
Chongoyape's centre follows a compact, regular street grid, as many Peruvian towns do, and it forms a neat block of lines within the valley.
Foothills around
Dry hills of the Andean foothills close in around the valley, leaving few roads beyond the main routes. This gives the map a sparse, open outer edge.
