Highway interchanges
Route 3, Route 46 and the Garden State Parkway meet in looping ramps. Their curves are among the most graphic shapes on the map.

关于地图
Clifton Map Poster & Print
Clifton is in Passaic County, New Jersey, about a dozen miles west of Manhattan. Its outline is irregular. The city wraps around neighbouring Passaic and stretches in several directions, so on a map it looks more like a patchwork of neighbourhoods than a single centred town.
Major roads provide the structure. Route 3, Route 46 and the Garden State Parkway cross the city in broad lines with large interchanges. Between them are tight residential grids, with small commercial streets and scattered parks. Toward the west, the land rises gently and the streets begin to curve.
Clifton became a city in 1917 after it separated from Acquackanonk Township, and its neighbourhoods still have separate names and identities. A Clifton map poster shows the patchwork outline, the highway interchanges and the close-knit residential blocks in clean black and white.

Patchwork outline
The city boundary winds around its neighbours. The result is an unusual shape with several distinct districts.
Neighbourhood grids
Dense blocks of houses fill the spaces between the highways, giving much of the city a steady, even texture.

为什么选Clifton
一张有意义的地图
Clifton is a map for people who grew up in one of its neighbourhoods or commuted from there to New York. It shows the real shape of a town that highways alone would never explain.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a street or a year. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital files cost $9.
