Indian River Lagoon
The lagoon fills the eastern part of the map with open water. This wide, calm space frames the town and separates it from the islands beyond.

关于地图
Cocoa Map Poster & Print
Cocoa lies on the west shore of the Indian River Lagoon in Brevard County, on Florida's Space Coast. On a map the lagoon dominates. It is a broad band of water separating the mainland from Merritt Island and, beyond it, the barrier island of Cocoa Beach. Causeways cross the water in long straight lines, while US 1 and the Florida East Coast Railway run north to south along the mainland.
The historic centre, Cocoa Village, sits close to the riverfront, with a compact grid of older streets, small shops and restored early twentieth-century buildings. Inland, residential neighbourhoods spread west in a mix of grids and curving suburban streets, broken by ponds and green spaces. The shoreline is a clean, gently curving line that holds the whole picture together.
A Cocoa map poster sets the town in its wider context, looking across the lagoon toward the islands where Cape Canaveral and Kennedy Space Center lie. Rocket launches can be watched from the Cocoa riverfront, and that link to spaceflight is part of local identity. In black and white, the water, bridges and streets stand out with unusual clarity.

Cocoa Village
The historic core near the river forms a small, dense grid of streets. It is the most detailed part of the drawing and the town's traditional centre.
Causeways
The long straight roads across the lagoon toward Merritt Island and Cocoa Beach are the boldest lines on the poster, linking the mainland with the barrier islands.

为什么选Cocoa
一张有意义的地图
The poster appeals to Space Coast residents, retirees who settled by the river, engineers who worked on the launch programmes, and families who spent holidays nearby. It gives the town, the lagoon and the causeways a place on the wall.
Add a launch date, a family name or a favourite street to the title and subtitle, and keep the coordinates as a subtle reference. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as digital files or as a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
