关于地图
Colón Map Poster & Print
Colón stands on the western bank of the Uruguay River in Entre Ríos, directly across from the Uruguayan city of Paysandú. From above, the town is a tidy orthogonal grid of square blocks, the pattern common to Argentine towns, which ends abruptly at the river. There the straight streets give way to a curving waterfront of beaches, a small port and green riverside parks.
The General Artigas Bridge, opened in the 1970s, links Colón with Paysandú and appears on the map as a long thin line striking out across the river and its islands. The town was founded in the 1860s to serve the agricultural colony of San José, settled by European immigrants, and today it is known for its river beaches and thermal baths.
A Colón map poster shows clearly how town and river depend on each other: the grid on one side, broad water on the other, and the bridge as the single line between them. South along the river lies El Palmar National Park, protected for its groves of yatay palms, a reminder of the open landscape that surrounds the town.

Artigas Bridge
The international bridge to Paysandú leaves the Argentine shore near the town, a single straight road spanning water and islands between Argentina and Uruguay.
River and islands
The Uruguay River is wide here and dotted with low islands and sandbanks, so much of the poster is open water framed by the curve of the Argentine shore.

为什么选Colón
一张有意义的地图
Colón is a place of summers, of fishing trips, river beaches and weekends at the thermal baths, and many visitors come back year after year. A map of the town is a quiet way to remember those seasons, or to mark a move to the riverside.
Set your own title and subtitle, perhaps with the year of a first visit, and fine-tune the coordinates line. The Blueprint and Sand styles suit the river setting especially well, though Classic black and white, Noir and Paper are equally available in every size.
