Brynica border line
The river runs along the western edge of town. It was once a border between empires and is still a clear dividing line between Czeladź and Katowice.

关于地图
Czeladź Map Poster & Print
Czeladź is one of the oldest towns in the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie conurbation, with town rights dating back to the thirteenth century. It lies on the Brynica River, which for more than a century marked the border between Prussian Silesia and Russian-ruled Zagłębie. The border is long gone, but on the map the river still separates Czeladź from the Katowice districts to the west.
The historic core is a small market square with streets leading off it in a regular pattern, surrounded by later growth. Coal mining shaped much of the rest. Former colliery grounds, workers' housing estates and industrial land fill parts of the map, and the old Saturn mine buildings are among the town's best-known industrial heritage. The neighbourhoods run straight into Będzin and Sosnowiec.
A Czeladź map poster shows a town that is both distinct and embedded in its surroundings: a clear old centre, the river line to the west, and dense districts pressing in from every side. For people from Zagłębie, it is a map of home at the heart of a much larger urban region.

Market square
The old town is centred on a compact rectangular square with a small grid of streets extending from it, the oldest and most regular part of the map.
Mining heritage
Former mine sites and the workers' housing built around them leave large blocks and distinctive estate layouts, which appear as coarser patches in the urban fabric.

为什么选Czeladź
一张有意义的地图
Czeladź means something particular to families with generations in Zagłębie, and the poster gives the town an identity separate from the larger cities around it. It works as a gift for someone returning from abroad or for a new homeowner.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be edited, and the map comes in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Choose $9 HD files to print yourself, or a matte poster with an optional wooden frame shipped by a print partner.
