关于地图
Daund Map Poster & Print
Daund is a town in Pune district, Maharashtra, around 75 kilometres east of Pune on the banks of the Bhima river. The railway shapes its plan more than anything else. From above, long tracks and yards cut across the town and divide residential areas from markets, while the river curves along one side and farmland stretches across the flat Deccan land beyond.
Daund Junction is one of the most important railway hubs in the region. It is where the line from Pune toward Solapur and southern India meets the route north toward Ahmednagar and Manmad. Generations of railway workers have lived here, and the countryside around the town, irrigated by canals and the Bhima, is known for sugarcane.
A Daund map poster captures a town built around movement: parallel tracks, a large junction, and streets set between the railway and the river. It suits railway families, commuters on the Pune line, and anyone who grew up with the sound of trains at night. In the Blueprint style the tracks read almost like a technical drawing.

The Bhima river
The river curves along the edge of Daund. Its broad natural line balances the straight geometry of the railway.
Railway colony streets
Residential areas laid out for railway staff have regular blocks, in contrast with the more irregular lanes of the older town.

为什么选Daund
一张有意义的地图
For families who have worked on the railways for generations, Daund is more than a junction name on a departure board. A carefully drawn map gives that connection a permanent place on the wall at home.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a name or a year, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 download has no watermark, and printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
